However, over the forthcoming season’s we hope to introduce additional teams into the various leagues, therefore providing more opportunity for more children to participate each week.

Loughgall Youth has now been providing football for children of all ages for over 10 years and are due to Celebrate 10 years of the Academy next season

The success of the club can be illustrated by the previous young players who have now progressed to playing at the highest level in Northern Ireland, England and Scotland. Three of our most successfully players to date include, Ryan McGivern who is now playing for Hibernian and has represented Northern Ireland at all levels including a number of Senior Caps, Luke McCullough who has recently signed for Doncaster Rovers from Manchester United who has also represented Northern Ireland at most levels and is currently the captain of Northern Ireland U21’s and Sammy Stewart who has previously played with Aberdeen & Glenavon. There also has been a number of players have gone through the Youth Teams to go on to play for Loughgall 1st team and  this season seen three players from U16’s included in the 1st team squad.

The coaching staff and officials of Loughgall FC understand that children participate in football to have fun. We never forget that the game of football is just that – a game. It’s all about enjoying the game and, at the same time, learning and developing football and life skills.

Loughgall Youth teams also get involved in end of season trips in which we have visited various locations throughout England, Scotland & Ireland over the years.

We also have an end of season Academy aged Annual Youth Tournament and this has attracted teams from all over Ireland.
